We’re on the lookout for a skilled and reliable Welding & Fabrication Technician to join our team. If you’ve got solid experience, take pride in your workmanship, and enjoy being part of a hardworking crew that doesn’t mind a laugh along the way. We want to hear from you.
About the Role
• You’ll be involved in a variety of fabrication and welding tasks, working on diverse projects where quality and safety are key. This is a hands on role suited to someone confident in their trade and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. If you enjoy complaining this is not the hobby for our workplace.
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 3 years, experience in welding and fabrication
• Strong skills in TIG and MIG welding
• Relevant welding tickets:
o NZQA / AS/NZS 2980
o AS/NZS 1665 9 (advantage)
• Confined Spaces Certificate (advantage)
• Basic heavy diesel mechanic skills (advantage)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Team player with a positive attitude and good sense of humour, someone who brings good energy and professionalism (non negotiables)
• Working Hours Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Flexible)
• Occasional Saturday work during busy periods
