This role in particular will involve working at one of our customers sites as a part of their maintenance team working a 4 on 4 off day roster until May from 6am until 6pm to cover a gap in their team. After this time you will rejoin our workshop crew and have a variety of work from repairs on heavy equipment to Fabrication of new sheetmetal, Pipe work and everything in between. Key Skills and Responsibilities: mechanical fitting and servicing, including bearings, shafts, drives, and gearboxes. Experience in working on food processing sites with stainless and carbon steels. Maintenance Fitter

ANZCO Foods Manawatu has a full-time permanent Maintenance Fitter position available at our processing site on Ferry Road, Manawatu, this will be a dayshift shift position and the hours of work will be between 5.00am and 2.00pm 5 days a week Monday to Friday. You will need to have flexibility to work outside these hours during maintenance shutdowns and times where the plant is working weekends or overtime. We are a fast-paced environment meaning this position will be varied and busy requiring the successful Candidate to demonstrate organisational abilities and enthusiasm for a processing environment. The hourly rate for this position will be between $35.00 - $42.00 per hour. Whether it's welding, stripping down and rebuilding parts or fitting/assembling components on our processing lines, there will be a good variety of work Ultimately, you'll play a vital role in keeping our production process running and in line with the required standards and regulations. It's the ideal mix of installation, inspection, repair and preventative maintenance - keeping things running and in great condition, so when little issues crop up, they don't turn into massive problems (and unscheduled outages).
