Commitment to health and safety standards **Job Description** **About the role:** We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2/Class 4 Driver to join our team in Cromwell. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible. - Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 6.00 am start time, finish time may vary depending on deliveries - Delivering cylinders filled with Liquid gases to customer sites across the Otago region. - Loading and unloading of trucks at customer sites - Maintaining truck and gear - Compliance to our health and safety standards & safe driving policies. **For this role, you will:** - Have proven Class 2 driving experience preferably within a dangerous goods environment - Have a clean driver’s license - Be physically fit and willing to do manual work - Be flexible, adaptable, and have a strong work ethic - Have a safety-first mindset and the ability to identify and minimise risks - Have a Dangerous Goods certificate, but is not essential as we can offer training **Pay + Benefits:** **What we offer:** - Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly - Fully paid medical insurance for yourself - Guaranteed hours of work - Training and upskilling opportunities **About the Company:** We’re Alexander Group, a well-established New Zealand family-owned specialist transportation and distribution solutions for hazardous and high value goods.
