Laundry Team Member | Part time| Alden Rose Lodge in West Invercargill
Keep our residents' clothes and linen fresh, clean, and cared for while supporting a smooth-running facility. Deliver professional, efficient, and resident-focused laundry services every day.
About the role
Provide high-quality laundry services for residents and the facility, ensuring cleanliness, timeliness, and respect for residents' belongings. Work closely with the Facility Manager, care team, and external suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
* Wash, fold, iron, and deliver resident and facility laundry to high standards
* Maintain linen and stock across the facility
* Care for laundry equipment and practice safe handling of chemicals
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service
* Follow facility policies, procedures, and Tikanga Maori practices
* Report issues or concerns promptly to the Facility Manager or RN

Skills & experience
* NZ residency or valid NZ work visa
* Previous experience in laundry or hospitality, ideally in aged care
* Knowledge of Health & Disability Sector Standards and quality systems
* Strong team, communication, and organisational skills
* Respectful and professional approach with residents and colleagues
* Laundry operating qualification or industry experience (desirable)
