Ellesmere Transport run a modern fleet of vehicles. The opportunity has arisen for a General Engineer to join our team. We are seeking an engineer to join our team with responsibilities of carrying out maintenance and engineering requirements. The position will require a wide range of skills including welding on transport and structural projects as well as day to day maintenance of our fleet and other equipment Ideally the applicant will: • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity • Strong team player yet independent to work self-directed with minimum instructions. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Thorough mechanical engineering principles and knowledge. * Certified welding * be able to demonstrate alloy, mig and tig welding The remuneration for this position will be determined by your skill level.
