We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Engineering All Rounder to take ownership of our workshop operations. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and the satisfaction of building and repairing quality equipment, this could be the perfect for someone who values work/life balance. About the Role As the sole charge Engineer in the workshop, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of repair, maintenance, and fabrication tasks. Two days are the same, and you’ll work closely with a supportive, industry leading team committed to delivering top quality service. Daily Responsibilities - General repair and maintenance work - Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs/replacements - Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of components - Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards and operating procedures - Completing one-off custom builds to client requirements What’s on Offer - Full-time hours: Monday to Friday + occasional Saturdays - 40–45 hours per week - Work with a talented and experienced team - Get involved in exciting new projects across the region - Stay physically active in a practical, hands on role What You’ll Bring - Trade qualification in Engineering (Fabrication, Maintenance, or Mechanical) - Welding experience in mild steel and alloy - 3+ years' experience on the tools - Ability to work independently - Confident in using fabrication tools and workshop equipment - Strong work ethic and reliable references Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand. A pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test is required.
