Twining Valley Nurseries is Australasia’s only comprehensive grower of instant hedges. We are a family-run wholesale nursery supplying premium Living Walls™ to the landscaping sector, and we’re known for quality plants, practical innovation, and a supportive team culture.
# The Role
This is a varied, physically active role for someone who enjoys working with plants and seeing real results from a hard day’s work. You’ll be involved in all aspects of commercial nursery operations, including greenhouse and outdoor work, handling and moving large plants, tractor driving and basic maintenance, irrigation, planting, staking, trimming, spraying, fertilising, and preparing orders for dispatch.
From time to time, you’ll also assist with delivering our hedges to customers using our modern Class 2 curtainsider truck.
Most of your week will be spent in the nursery, working as part of a practical, experienced team and playing a key role in keeping plants healthy, orders moving, and maintaining our high nursery standards.
# About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous horticultural, nursery, landscaping, or garden maintenance experience
Is physically strong, fit, and comfortable with repetitive lifting and outdoor work
Has a practical, hands-on mindset and a strong work ethic
Is reliable, punctual, and works well as part of a small team
Holds a Class 2 driver’s licence and is confident driving when required
Has an interest in plants, growing systems, or machinery (an advantage)
