Strong pipeline of work and genuine room to grow Mechanical Draftsperson (Inventor | Fabrication Focus) A busy engineering team with a strong pipeline of work and room to grow is seeking a practical, hands-on Mechanical Draftsperson to join their Rotorua-based in-house team. This is a great opportunity to see your designs go from concept through to fabrication and installation. What you’ll be doing: - 3D modelling of process plant and materials handling systems using Autodesk Inventor - Producing layouts, general arrangements, and detailed mechanical component drawings - Creating detailed fabrication and installation drawings - Generating accurate as-built documentation - Working closely with workshop teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable What you’ll bring: - 5+ years’ experience in mechanical/fabrication drafting - Strong Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD skills - Experience with Recap or Navisworks is a bonus - Practical, hands-on fabrication or workshop experience highly valued - Honest, positive, adaptable, and a committed team player Why this role is great: - Be part of a collaborative, delivery-focused team - Work on varied, interesting projects - Guaranteed 40 hours per week - Strong pipeline of work and genuine room to grow If you enjoy seeing your designs come to life and working in a practical, fast-moving environment, we want to hear from you.
