Are you a skilled Motorcycle Technician ready to take the next step in your career? This is your opportunity to move into a Workshop Manager role and lead a team in a busy, hands-on environment.
My client is a leading agricultural machinery, parts, and servicing, company who have a strong reputation for quality, reliability and EXCELLENT customer service. Their customers range from farmers, contractors to lifestyle block owners and more. they pride themselves on a supportive, hands-on work environment where skill, teamwork, professional and personal growth are highly valued.
The right candidate will have a strong mechanical background, ideally as a QFD Technician, with experience in the agricultural machinery space (preferred but not essential) You'll be organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities while leading by example with a hands-on, “can-do” attitude. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with both team members and customers are key.
What you'll do:
* Manage day to day workshop operations
* Supervising, mentoring and developing a team of technicians
* Coordinating repairs, maintenance and service work to a high standard
* Ensuring the worship is up to health and safety regulations, organised and productive
* Implementing process to improve workflow and customer satisfaction
Who we're looking for:
* Experienced Technician or similar trade background.
* Ideally, you’ll have experience in the agricultural machinery space – but if you’re coming from another mechanical or workshop background and are ready to step into management, I’d still love to hear from you.
* Hold a full NZ driver's license
* Eligible to work in NZ (can't support Visas)
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations
