Who we are: RS Automotive Ltd is a high quality independent automotive workshop based in Bayfair Mount Maunganui. We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship and have built a loyal customer base. The workshop has been under same ownership for the last 18 years and we provide an environment where technicians enjoy working. Our current Apprentice is now fully qualified creating a vacancy in our shop for a new apprentice technician. The industry is changing rapidly with exciting new training opportunities available for motivated person with a passion for all things automotive. Who we’re looking for: -Positive attitude with a friendly disposition -A genuine passion for the automotive industry and willingness to learn -Excellent command of English oral and written -Desire to complete required practical and theory training in a timely manner -Understands working in a team and undertakes instructions well from senior members -Works without supervision once shown and self-motivated to meet our requirements -Being reliable and honest are traits we hold strong. Pride in quality workmanship and tidy work habits are valued -Basic computer skills and willingness to help wherever required in the business -Permanent resident or relevant visa to work in New Zealand -Drivers’ license at a minimum of restricted level with manual -Enthusiastic with the desire to take advantage of learning new skills and challenges -Pride in personal appearance and a desire to better yourself We offer: A friendly work environment with a great team We offer rates above industry standard depending on experience and ability We supply your uniform, PPE, and work boots Training fees with MITO are paid for throughout the term of the apprenticeship
