Mō te tūranga | About the role Heretaunga Seniors is a trusted and welcoming community centre for older people. We offer enriching day programmes, social connection and pastoral care. Our environment encourages, creativity, connection and equity - underpinned by our vision of te oranga ake – flourishing together. As the Programme Manager, you’ll be the kaitiaki of this unique service, leading a team of passionate programme assistants and volunteers in creating experiences and connections led with aroha, rongo and hari. You’ll be supported by the GM, Community Services and a collaborative network of Programme Managers at our two other locations. This is a permanent role working 32 hours per week. You’ll be a natural leader who: • Is passionate about empowering others and fostering a positive workplace culture • Brings strong operational leadership – from staffing and compliance to financial oversight, and building strong community and whānau connections. • Has a strong understanding of the needs of older people, running day programmes and client management systems.
