Birmingham 1911, hinged bangle 9ct rose gold - Diamonds and Sapphires

A stunning 9ct rose gold Edwardian hinged bangle fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 with three stunning royal blue sapphires and six rose cut diamonds. The bangle is hinged and crafted from rose gold with a yellow gold layer at the top to provide contrast to the applied rose gold settings each set with a sapphire and two diamonds. The stones are bead set and hand engraved with the sapphire in a square cut setting and each diamond in a tringle.. This is circa 1900 and is stamped 9ct. The sides and back are rectilinear and hollow with the top 7.5 mm wide. With the applied setting this goes up to 12.4mm. There are elements of Etruscan revival with canielle applied swirls, attached round balls and intricate applied flowers.
