**About the role** This job requires an experienced STMS with current A, B and C - Practising to manage and supervise traffic management work on urban roads, rural roads, and highways across Auckland. Work locations change daily, so must be flexible to travel across Auckland. Must be a self-starter who can adapt quickly as job activities change day to day. **Duties:** · Set up and take down traffic management on roads, highways, and work sites. · Lead and supervise crew to ensure work is safe and efficient. · Check plans and TMPs to verify signs, cones, and barriers are correct. · Identify hazards and manage risks to protect workers and the public. · Maintain records and reports for audits, incidents, and compliance purposes. **Skills & Experience:** · Strong knowledge of TTM (Temporary Traffic Management). · Hands-on experience with risk assessments and maintaining safe worksites. · Leadership experience; able to handle conflicts diplomatically. · Professional and respectful, representing the company positively in the community. · Clear communicator with excellent documentation skills. **Requirements:** · Current STMS (A, B & C) - Practising with 5+ years' hands-on experience. · Able to pass a drug and alcohol test. · Class 2 driver's licence. · Flexible to travel across all Auckland projects. **Benefits:** · Competitive market rates $30 - $35 per hour. · Long-term projects with job security. · Work with a leading civil construction company specialising in wastewater, road services, and tunnelling. **About the Company:** A leading civil construction and traffic management firm working across New Zealand.
