There is effectively no barrel distortion but, like every wide angle, it has geometric distortion due to the relative distances of objects with such a wide angle. However, straight lines stay straight.\r\nThese rarely come up for sale and, when they do, they are always expensive. \r\nNo, I don't have the original lens caps but a std 72mm cap works on the front and I've made a cap for the rear that works.\r\nIt comes with the genuine Fujica lens hood which is designed for both the 65mm and the 50mm. I don't have the genuine Fujica accessory viewfinder but included is a Mamiya parallax adjusting 50mm viewfinder from a Press. In my tests it delivered a visibly shallower depth of field than recent f2.8 and 3.5 versions, without ever compromising on sharpness which remained crisp into the corners. And while some barrel distortion and vignetting were visible, both can be effectively corrected with lens compensations. I’m also fond of Sigma’s vintage styling and metal construction that extends to the supplied hood. It would have been nice if the weather sealing extended beyond the mount and the aperture ring had been de-clickable, both now common features on Sony’s lenses, but the overall package remains hard to beat.
