December Chaotic Book Club ✨ Christmas Book Swap

Chaotic Book Club is embracing the chaotic nature of the festive season with our third annual book swap! Hopefully everyone will have a read for the plane ride home, to escape from awkward family gatherings, or to read on the beach! **How it will work:** Everyone brings a copy (new or used!) of a book they love and are willing to part with. **The pitch:** Each person takes a turn to give an ‘elevator pitch’ for the book the brought; it could be a summary, a ‘why I liked it’, or a story about how you came across it. **The swap:** Everyone randomly draws a number, which will define the order of choosing. Choose which book you want to take home (but don’t get too attached!). **The twist:** If someone ahead of you nabbed the book you wanted, you can choose to steal it! The victim gets to choose another book. The only law is that you can’t take home the same book you brought. Let the chaos and conversation lead the way from there! **EXCITING OPPORTUNITY!!** We are currently looking for another book lover (or two!) to join our admin team, the responsibilities are minimal and 'I run a book club' is always an epic conversation starter. :) We will meet for the book swap at our regular spot at Mezze Bar on Sunday 14th December at 11am.
