You will need the following experience: • A minimum of 3 plus years’ experience as a trade qualified, preferably dual trade (Mechanical/Electrical) with mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer • Sound mechanical knowledge and experience is essential (Electrical knowledge and experience to be advantageous) • Ability to work under pressure while adhering to Moana’s values. • Experience with the repair and maintenance of conveyor systems, all types of pumps, robotics systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum systems. • Exceptional mechanical problem-solving skills with the ability to use technical manuals to assist, and the ability to build preventative maintenance programs. • Strong attention to detail. Be reliable and self-motivated as this position gives a large degree of autonomy, backed by a supportive maintenance team. • A good level of computer literacy so that you can operate a CMMS system, detailing engineering repairs, booking parts, adding labour and closing out work orders. • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work to priorities and deadlines. • To be a strong team player with an excellent internal customer service ethic, a good sense of humour and a ‘can do’ attitude.
