About the role: We're looking for a Design Engineer to provide electricity network and customer-initiated works design and tendering services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of one of New Zealand's leading energy service providers. What you'll be doing: * Designing and pricing LV electricity distribution supplies for subdivisions and commercial developments. * Designing and pricing HV network infrastructure and substation works, including overhead/underground installations, conversions, reinforcements, and relocations. * Preparing tender and contractual documentation. * Producing CAD construction and as-built drawings. * Collaborating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards. About you: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or similar qualification. * Minimum 5 years' experience in the electricity industry in design engineering or delivery roles. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution design and pricing. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. * Ability to plan and manage workload to meet deadlines without compromising safety or quality. * Full NZ Driver's Licence. * Knowledge of Vector Electricity network (preferred).
