* Stunning Retirement Village setting in Beachlands * Full time – 3-month Fixed Term role – Monday to Friday * Be a part of a great team culture * Great hourly rates offered About the role We are looking for a fabulous Café Assistant to work in our lovely Pohutukawa Landing Village in Beachlands, East Auckland. This is a 3-month Fixed term position working Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week. You will provide Barista and Café services in our established café. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will be providing exceptional service to our Residents and their friends, while also helping provide a great dining experience! There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired. Some of the great things you will be doing: * Taking food and beverage orders from our residents, visitors and staff * Making amazing cups of coffee (semi-automatic machine) * Serving and collecting meals in our café * Assisting the Cook with food prep in the Kitchen * Operating the cash register * General cleaning including café equipment and washing up in the kitchen * Additional Kitchen duties as and when required About you You will have exceptional customer service skills, a vibrant and welcoming personality, enjoy giving service with a smile and you can effortlessly juggle several tasks at once.
