📕 Bring a poetry collection to the picnic

We spread sunlight on the grass like unfolding an old newspaper printed with messages of the wind Bread sleeps inside the basket dreaming of wheat fields and faraway lands An apple rolls away, taking a small piece of sky Time stops here for a drink Ants carry our laughter one by one, into the deep soil Tree shadows are giant clocks not moving, not stopping We sit between noon and dusk No need to say anything Clouds know our names Dewdrops on the grass blades remember for us ———— 📜 Event Description: Bring your favorite poetry collection, or poems you've written yourself—classical Chinese poetry, modern poetry, foreign poems, all are welcome. Share them with everyone and appreciate them together. We especially welcome talented poets to share those acrostic love poems written years ago, and reminisce (or vent) about those wasted affections. Those who can sing are also welcome to perform a song, conveying emotions through melody. 👥 Capacity: 20 participants, 8 speakers (first come, first served) ———— ☔ Important Notice: In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to December 6th (Saturday). If the weather remains unfavorable, it will continue to be postponed until conditions allow (that's how任性we are). ———— Looking forward to meeting each other within our poems.
