Our client is a specialist in luxury architectural residential projects, delivering bespoke homes of the highest quality. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the financial management of high-end builds, from tendering and pricing through to final accounts. Working closely with project managers, architects, and clients, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on budget without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage budgets, estimates, and cost plans
- Handle progress claims, variations, and final accounts
- Procure subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting
- Support project managers and liaise with architects and clients
About You
- Previous experience as a QS in high end residential or architectural builds
- Strong knowledge of NZ building contracts and procurement
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Confident communicator, client-facing experience advantageous
- Relevant QS qualification or trade background
