Supportive team culture and great working environment * Apply now, start tomorrow! * Mon - Fri stable hours * Work for a national logistics company ALH is seeking an experienced and reliable Freight Loader to join our client's busy transport and logistics operation based in Seaview, Wellington. This is a hands-on, physical role working with a leading national freight company known for their strong safety culture, modern facilities, and focus on employee wellbeing. You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight, ensuring all goods are handled correctly and moved on time. This role offers great long-term potential with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. Key Responsibilities: * Safely load and unload linehaul and local freight units * Operate forklifts to move and stack freight efficiently * Check consignments for damage and correct quantities * Complete basic paperwork and maintain a tidy workspace * Work closely with the team to meet tight dispatch schedules * Follow all Health & Safety and site procedures What We're Looking For: * Min 2 years experience in freight loader or similar forklift position * Confident operating a forklift (current OSH cert required; F endorsement preferred) * Strong attention to detail and good communication skills * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently * Physically fit and drug-free (pre-employment screening applies) * Must have the right to work in New Zealand * Must pass drug screening and MOJ pre-employment checks What's On Offer: * Stable, full-time hours on the afternoon shift (1PM - 10PM) * Temp-to-perm opportunity with a respected national logistics company * Supportive team culture and great working environment * Training and upskilling opportunities through ALH and our client If you're interested apply now!
