Opportunity to develop skills within a respected and growing company Construction Assistant HGM Construction – Christchurch & South Island Projects HGM Construction is a well-established New Zealand construction company, delivering innovative and practical solutions to complex construction projects since 2006. We work across a wide range of sectors, with a strong focus on recreation construction, civil works, and specialist construction in challenging environments. We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Assistant to join our skilled and dedicated team. About the Role: This is a hands on, physical role working alongside experienced trades and crew on a variety of projects. A large portion of the work involves recreation construction, including bike and walking tracks, timber structures such as bridges, boardwalks, staircases, viewing platforms, and general track building and maintenance. You will also assist with general labouring duties across site and civil works projects.
