Description

As an experienced freight loader you will be checking inwards goods, moving product onto pallets, checking outgoing orders, & loading / unloading trucks. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF FAK IS ESSENTIAL - You will need to have experience with Multi pallet handles Hoists, and using attachments for - ie paper clamps etc . Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will be physically fit and hold a current counterbalance fork hoist license, & have experience working in transport and logistics environment - This position proposes the opportunity for career advancement and training. ** Shift times - :** Monday to Friday. 40 - 50 hours per week 4 am - 2pm or 2pm to finish **In Brief:** Duties: * Freight sorting and loading -Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner. '* Handling a wide range of freight * General yard duties , including devanning * Warehouse Housekeeping **Skills needed:** * FAK experience ( freight all kind ) * Current OSH fork licence * Able to lift 25kg * Prior long fork experience (preferred) * Must be able to stay calm under pressure * Must be very safety conscious * Must have worked in a transport and logistics environment previously In return, we offer a competitive remuneration package depending on your experience and qualifications.
