Vintage vitrine ring or trinket box

This lovely little vitrine ring or trinket box has a combination of green glass for the body and a clear beveled glass lid. It dates to the first half of the twentieth century. It is showing some wear to the gilded metal and has a little damage to the glass rim internally (that is very smooth and may always have been present…) but it is still full of charm.
