NZV8 FALCON This car has a lot of history – a United Video Falcon that won the NZV8 championship, built by Gary Pedersen Motorsport. It’s an awesome car with a lot of fast upgrades that make it suitable to run in endurance racing as well as normal sprint racing. The engine has been freshened since last outing, reconditioned heads, new Tilton clutch when it was out etc. Engine was initially spec’d by Kel Mc Beth and has been freshened twice since by race engine builder Russ Clarke. It is over 600hp and it really sounds awesome on track. We have had a ton of fun with the car, however my son is karting now every other week so we really do not have time to run the car at all. Specs 363ci Small block ford. Dart Block. Motor is over 600hp – tested 535hp at the wheels on the Dtech dyno – Sheet can be provided. Alloy AFR racing heads Rotating assembly is all top gear. TTI 6 Speed sequential gearbox. TTI Shifter. Tilton Clutch Custom 9 inch ford rear end with Strange Alloy centre section, lsd and floating hubs. Dry sump setup in car Motec Dash MSD Trick Fuel Carb Heated windscreen that works really well Wired for an car radio system with push to talk button on steering wheel. Current log book. Car runs 18’ TLX lightweight magnesium wheels all round and comes with 3 sets of wheels (12). Loads of used rubber comes with the car for track days and a very good condition set of Michelin Wets that have done a very wet 1 hour race. Built in dual in car camera system front and rear facing. 120l endurance fuel tank with dry break system for rapid refuel in enduros. Lots of other cool improvements. Massive box of spares, far too much to list. 2 front splitters – one a lightweight one we have modified and fitted to the car but not run yet (needs paint or wrap).
