Agrippa Paints Ltd is a leading manufacturer of timber stains and paints in New Zealand. Located in Hornby, Christchurch, Agrippa Paints is a family owned business with a reputation for great products. We are looking for suitably skilled person to perform the following permanent, full-time role of labelling, canning and making our products. Role specific tasks: * Follow a plan to label containers ahead of production. * Canning product through a semi-automated line. * Making of batches following formulations and instructions during our busy periods. * Performing quality control checking for each batch against required specifications. * Operating dispersing/mixing machines according to SOP's and batch documents. * Ensure raw materials/packaging are received and stored in allocated areas. * Operate a forklift safely. * Clean and tidy work practices is a must. We’re looking for a capable and disciplined professional, who’s aligned with our values, and committed to delivering high quality products to our customers. The successful candidate will need to have: * Experience operating production machinery within a busy production environment. * Comfortable following operating procedures including health and safety. * Possess excellent English language skills, both written and verbal. * A good level of physical fitness as this is a hands-on role involving lifting and being on your feet all day. * A forklift licence. * Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. * An understanding of the importance of working to deadlines. * Reliable with a committed approach to work with a strong work ethic.
