Höglund Art Glass jug - handmade in NZ 1995

This beautiful Höglund Art Glass jug was made in 1995. It still has its original sticker, as well as a signed and dated base. It is in perfect condition and would a make great addition to a New Zealand art glass collection. I love the combination of the green rim and blue handle and the melding of the two colours in the base. Ola Höglund and Marie Simberg – Höglund were both born in Sweden, where the name Höglund was already associated with top quality modernist art glass through the work of Ola's father Erik Höglund. Ola and Marie travelled and worked internationally before settling in New Zealand in the early 1980s. Their work is internationally renowned and sought after by both public and private collectors worldwide. Please look closely at the photographs as they form part of the description.
