Canon PowerShot V1 Digital Camera - Wide Angle 16-50mm Zoom Lens

addressPorirua, New Zealand

Description

OK, full disclosure, I bought this on 1st May and have hardly used it coz, turns out it's not the right camera for my needs. It's an awesome camera but it a)doesn't fit in my motorcycle jacket pocket and b) doesn't have enough zoom for me. I thought it would be a great replacement for my aging G7X Mk ii but it's not, I'm still using the old one. Regrettably, I want to sell this and review my options. Welcome to the PowerShot V1, a powerful video-first camera with all the features you are looking for content creation, in an all-in-one design. This new sleek design features an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, advanced autofocus, a built-in cooling fan, and impressive stabilization. The PowerShot V1 will let you focus on your creativity without worrying about time limits getting in the way of your videos. The Lens The PowerShot V1 is equipped with an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that is equivalent to a 17-52mm lens for Full Frame cameras (16-50mm when taking still photos) with an aperture range of F2.8-11 at the wide-angle setting, making it ideal for vlogging without the worry about changing lenses. A built-in 3-stop ND filter is available, for bright outdoor lighting conditions, so you are ready to shoot, wherever you are. Get Up Close Capture subjects in large detail by focusing down to 5.9 inches. This enables richly expressive close-up shots using the wide angle of view and bokeh that a wide-angle lens can provide. The Sensor Larger than the sensors typically found on compact cameras, the newly designed 1.4-type CMOS sensor, has 22.3 megapixels for still images (18.7 megapixels for video), giving you enhanced image quality which provides a shallower depth of field, better light performance, improved Dynamic Range and greater ISO performance.
