Barista and Front of House

Victus Coffee & Eatery is on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Coffee Expert to lead our barista team and elevate the coffee experience for our guests. If you’re a seasoned pro with a flair for latte art, love training others, and have a competitive edge, we want to hear from you! What You’ll Bring to the Table: 5+ years of specialty coffee experience in a similar environment making 400+ coffees per day Advanced latte art skills and a strong eye for detail Experience in Barista competitions (Aeropress/v60/Cuptasters/Barista Champs) – you know how to stand out under pressure A strong background in training and mentoring baristas A love for quality, consistency, and customer connection Bonus Points: Experience working with La Marzocco machines (we use the Linea PB – precision and reliability are key to our craft) Passion for dialling in espresso, cupping, and continuously improving brew techniques Experience with menu design and creating speciality drinks An interest in slow brew coffee Experience roasting and machine maintenance and repair Your Role at Victus: Lead by example on the bar and maintain consistent quality across all coffee drinks Train new hires and upskill current staff with regular coffee education and calibration sessions Collaborate with management to refine our coffee program, menus, and service flow Champion a culture of excellence, creativity, and customer-focused hospitality This is a full time position of a minimum of 32 hours a week, spread over Monday to Saturday. (Closed Sundays). We are open public holidays. Shifts vary and are between the hours of 6.30am-4pm. Why Join Victus Coffee & Eatery?
