Our aircraft are fitted with GPS technology for accurate placement of fertiliser enabling our customers to maximise farm productivity whilst reducing the environmental impact. The company currently has 11 operational aircraft supported by more than 35 Loader trucks capable of loading and spreading different fertilizer types across different regions in NZ. A complete Engineering department maintains aircraft and manufactures specialised aircraft parts. **About the role** We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Aircraft Loader Driver (officially titled, Agri Fixed Wing Ground Support) team member to join the team at Ravensdown Aerowork. Based in Whanganui and covering the surrounding area, you'll be responsible for loading and refuelling fixed wing aircraft in a safe and professional manner, shifting loaders between loading sites and maintaining the mobile plant. This role would ideally suit someone with flexibility and has the ability to work increased hours during our peak seasons (Spring and Autumn). The hours for this role are variable and weather dependant, and weekend work will be required. If you're passionate about the aviation and/or agricultural industries, enjoy operating heavy machinery and prefer working outdoors we'd love to hear from you. **About You** To be successful in this role you will have: -Ideally previous Loader Driver or Truck Driving experience -Experience handling heavy machinery -Flexibility and availability to respond to business requirements and weather conditions -A commitment to safety and quality -Great communication skills If you have a class 2 or 4 license and DG endorsement that's an advantage, but if not, we can provide the training to get you there as long as you have a positive, can-do attitude. **How to Apply** Please click on the 'Apply' to send your CV and cover letter, or email careers@ravensdown.co.nz with any questions.
