We're looking for an experienced and driven Utilities Delivery Manager to join our Infrastructure team. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the delivery of Infrastructure projects across the Manawatū District — including water, wastewater, stormwater treatment, reticulation renewals, roading and capital works. About the role As the Utilities Delivery Manager, you'll oversee the planning, procurement, and construction of a range of infrastructure projects that are vital to our communities. You'll lead a skilled engineering team and ensure high-quality outcomes across our Infrastructure programmes — delivering reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective infrastructure that supports the district's growth and wellbeing. You'll also provide technical leadership and mentorship, manage contractors and stakeholders, and ensure best practice in project management, health and safety, and customer service. What you'll bring * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline) and/or CPEng qualification. * At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in utilities or civil infrastructure project management and delivery. * Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and budgets simultaneously. * Sound understanding of NZS 3910, contract procurement, and supervision. * Demonstrated leadership experience — coaching, mentoring, and supporting others to deliver excellence. * Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. * A current full driver's licence. Experience within local government, Three Waters infrastructure or Infrastructure related projects will be a strong advantage. Why join us? ANZCO Foods Manawatu has a full-time permanent Maintenance Fitter position available at our processing site on Ferry Road, Manawatu, this will be a dayshift shift position and the hours of work will be between 5.00am and 2.00pm 5 days a week Monday to Friday. You will need to have flexibility to work outside these hours during maintenance shutdowns and times where the plant is working weekends or overtime. We are a fast-paced environment meaning this position will be varied and busy requiring the successful Candidate to demonstrate organisational abilities and enthusiasm for a processing environment. The hourly rate for this position will be between $35.00 - $42.00 per hour. Whether it's welding, stripping down and rebuilding parts or fitting/assembling components on our processing lines, there will be a good variety of work Ultimately, you'll play a vital role in keeping our production process running and in line with the required standards and regulations. It's the ideal mix of installation, inspection, repair and preventative maintenance - keeping things running and in great condition, so when little issues crop up, they don't turn into massive problems (and unscheduled outages).
