Warehouse Supervisor

As Operations Lead, you’ll drive our manufacturing, warehousing, and customer service functions. You’ll lead by example - rolling up your sleeves alongside the team to meet production targets and deliver a standout experience for our customers. You will have specific responsibility for the operation of the mixing room where our livestock marking crayon products are formulated ready for filling. Key Responsibilities • Leadership & Staff Management: Train, supervise, and develop staff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment • Hands-On Involvement: During crayon manufacture (3 to 6 weeks per year) you will operate the crayon mixing room ensuring batches are correctly mixed for filling the next day. This will require working in PPE with heavy lifting. • Lead by example and participate in daily operations, including customer services, manufacturing and other essential areas of the business • Operational Efficiency: Implement and refine processes to optimise production performance • Compliance: Ensure compliance with H&S and other relevant regulations • Continual Improvement: Identify areas for improvement using data and feedback. What We're Looking For • Proven experience in operations, with a willingness to work hands-on and lead by example • Strong organisational, delegation and collaboration skills • Ability to visualise and plan daily and weekly operations and adapt as needed • Proficiency in computing and an apetite to fully utilise the features in our Infusion software to simplify and enhance the management of our business

Job Description Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for receiving beef and lamb livestock from transport agencies and maintaining a constant flow of stock to the processing rooms. You will oversee a team of 15 - 20 staff whose role is in ensuring animal welfare and animal presentation is maintained at all times as well as compliance with all processes and procedures. Being able to lead and motivate your team is a key aspect of this role. You will have a committed approach to leadership with the ability to drive your team members to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Qualifications This role requires attention to detail when completing documentation such as receiving stock and producing kill agendas. It also requires the ability to train and upskill others to ensure the efficient operation of the department. Good animal husbandry and knowledge of animal welfare would be advantageous, however not a requirement. An upbeat attitude towards staff management and accountability and engagement and empowering staff to perform is required. Previous experience in this area is preferable.
