We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead the opening of our newest bakery in Auckland. With a strong brand and growing customer demand, this is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a store from the ground up—and grow with it. About the Role This is more than just a Store Manager role. You’ll be the face of our bakery, responsible for setting the tone, building the team, and delivering an exceptional retail experience. - 30 hours to start with a path to full-time as the store grows - Weekend work is essential to start. - Full autonomy over daily operations—but support is close by, with our nearby production kitchen and NPD (new product development) team. Key Responsibilities - Run the store like it’s your own – from stock and inventory management to POS operations. - Manage the store roster. - Maintain high standards of presentation, product rotation, and customer service. - Move fast and stay organised – our products are fast-moving, and our customers expect the best. - Liaise with the wider team on product feedback and performance. What We’re Looking For - Retail management experience is a must – ideally in fast-moving consumer goods. - Someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in, take ownership, and lead from the front. - Strong communication skills and a confident, engaging personality. - A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering a polished, premium store experience. - Able to work independently.
