We work as part of small team here so being in the yard putting orders together, unloading/loading trucks, using the forklift/loader and putting product away will also be required. Inwards Goods Assistant - 6 Month Fixed Term

This is your chance to work in a "big box"format store and be part of a passionate and committed team.   Reporting to the Inwards Goods Supervisor you will be responsible for coordinating incoming stock from our suppliers. This involves ensuring the stock is checked off and entered into our computerised inventory system in a quick and timely manner, and that stock flows through the business to reach the shelves in a timely manner to satisfy customer demand. This is a full time (32 hours per week) role that is very physical and hands-on in a busy area of the business. Accuracy, attention to detail, planning and organisation, and communication are all essential skills for this role. Previous experience in warehousing and/or inventory would be advantageous. Ideally you will have an 'F' endorsement and current forklift license or a full clean drivers license to obtain a forklift license.
