As a Team Member at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone you will have the opportunity to be involved across a broad range of areas and will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers. On a daily basis you will be involved in offering our customers an exceptional in store and after sales service, answering their queries and assisting them with their purchasing decisions, stock integrity, merchandising and improving your product knowledge so you can make the customer experience even better. Were looking for: Mitre 10 MEGA Petone is looking for a retail professional with green fingers and a customer-focused attitude to take on this full time role. Ideally the successful candidates will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude! You will play an essential part in helping our customers select the right plants, fertilizers, tools and garden hardware that best suit their needs. For this position we are looking for a candidate who has:  * Great enthusiasm for customer service and sales  * Great work ethic, a can do attitude, and a team player * Excellent verbal and written communication skills  * Confidence using a computer and the ability to learn new systems quickly * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to adapt and be flexible  * The physical capabilities to manage the manual handling aspects of this role (manual handling, prolonged standing, ladder use) * A good awareness of Health & Safety * Knowledge of plants and garden products is essential   We are looking for TWO Full Time Team Members, with a Tuesday - Saturday roster, and a Sunday - Thursday roster available.  If this sounds appealing to you and you think you can deliver on what we seek, then please apply as soon as you can!
