Record and analyse test results to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control protocols. Identify and address any issues that may affect product quality. * Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits. Generate reports to communicate findings and recommend corrective actions. * Update inventory records and reflect stock status. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance product quality. * Assist with customer complaints investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Skills: * 5+ years in food manufacturing industry (preferred) * 2+ years in high-risk or highly regulated industry such as meat, dairy or pharma. * Experience in FMCG with exposure to NZ distribution as well as exporting. * Experience participating in a HACCP and/or Quality system team * Experience with thermal processing. * Lead a food safety and quality culture across all levels of the company including behaviours on the production floor * Support production staff to understand and adhere to food safety and quality requirements Hurry up to apply now!!! We’re adding an additional intermediate level Test Engineer to our Digital Engineering Team. You’ll be involved in backend and frontend testing, predominantly involving Digital Platform APIs, websites, mobile apps and kiosks. You'll need good manual and automation experience, and sound knowledge of C# and Specflow. This is a critical role, which play an important role in ensuring our premium seafood products meet the highest standards of food quality and safety. Under the direction of the Production Manager & QA, Compliance & Health & Safety Lead you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the fish processing procedures, implementing quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out a daily pre-operational and compliance checks to ensure the factory is able and ready to commence production at the designated time. • Ensure quality checks carried out in accordance with the company product specifications and any third-party specifications. • Maintain the necessary food safety standards as required by the factory’s Risk Management Plan (RMP) • Undertake product and environmental testing as per the factory sampling schedule. • Carry out the factory’s temperature checking programmes to ensure the required food safety standards are being met. • Monitor and evaluate raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications. • Support the implantation and maintenance of quality control procedures and best practices. • Collaborate with production and management teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions. • Stay updated with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
