Senior Project Coordinator â Property Development (Bilingual English/Mandarin) đ Location: Lake Tekapo, New Zealand đ Employment Type: Full-time (30+ hours/week) đ° Pay: $80000 Per Year We are a high-end property developer with multiple tourism and residential accommodation projects in Lake Tekapo. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Coordinator with at least 10 years of experience in large-scale property or luxury hotel development. This role requires strong communication with builders, contractors, local councils, and internal teams, as well as the ability to oversee cost control, legal compliance, and efficient project delivery in a remote and fast-paced environment. To be considered, you must: Be physically fit and able to work in both office and site environments Be fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) Have 10+ years of relevant experience in high-end commercial or hotel property development Be familiar with New Zealand construction law, council compliance processes, and local development regulations Be confident working closely with contractors/builders, project managers, architects, and council officers Have proven ability in cost management, scheduling, and quality assurance Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a detail-oriented approach Be proficient in MS Office, project management software, and documentation handling Key Responsibilities Include: Coordinating all aspects of project planning and implementation Ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards Monitoring project costs and maintaining strict cost control Handling council applications, compliance documents, and resource consent requirements Managing communication across teams and external stakeholders Preparing reports, updating project documentation, and addressing risk areas Supporting the Director with decision-making by providing timely, accurate information Attending on-site meetings and ensuring contractor performance Additional Information: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week The position may be subject to police background checks and drug/alcohol screening Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand Please state your residency or visa status in your application If you are a highly experienced bilingual project professional who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven track record in luxury property development, weâd love to hear from you.
