The Opportunity Based in our Auckland branch (Mt Wellington), you’ll take ownership of complex projects, lead dedicated teams, and collaborate with clients and consultants. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage all phases of projects – from procurement and design through to construction and close-out. • Create, monitor, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. • Ensure full compliance with company EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and drive a safety-first culture. • Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to site supervisors and installers. • Work closely with the sales and estimation teams to align projects with client specifications. • Drive efficiency, quality, and innovation across every stage of delivery. What We’re Looking For • Proven project management experience in construction, electrical, engineering, mechanical or building services. • Successful track record in delivering projects of varying size and complexity. • Strong knowledge of EHS practices and quality assurance standards. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Financial acumen – including forecasting, budgets, quoting, and invoicing. • Computer literacy (MS Office essential; project software, Ground Plan, Simpro experience an advantage). • Formal project management certification (e.g. PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, NZIOB) – advantageous but not essential. • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop others.
