The Senior Project Manager ensures all contracted projects are delivered to the highest quality standard, within scope, in budget and on time. What You’ll Do Ensuring preparation/completion of projects to appropriate quality standards within time/cost constraints as well as meeting contractual requirements and company budget requirements. Leading agile project teams delivering  mid to large scale CRM projects for our customers. Coordinating documentation, design, development and testing of enhancements and new development projects. Tailoring project methodology to individual projects when needed. Preparing project budgets, attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner and monitoring project financials and the realisation of defined project benefits. Exceeding stakeholder expectations through the application of stakeholder management disciplines. What You’ll Bring We are seeking a resilient and adaptable team player to manage multiple mid to large-sized projects, who can bring a dynamic element to our existing professional project management capability. You will have: Extensive experience delivering projects, preferably with a focus on CRM  . Ability to build and lead collaborative project teams to achieve organisational goals and objectives. Broad and deep understanding of delivering software projects. Strong communication skills with proven experience of managing various stakeholders of all levels and the ability to tailor your conversations accordingly. Strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation and project revenue. What you will be doing:   The Senior Risk Specialist is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and guidance on all aspects of risk management for projects across the Infrastructure Portfolio. This is to ensure Auckland Airport’s Risk Management Procedure and Enterprise Risk Management Framework are implemented and maintained at a project level on all projects. With a focus on risk identification, administration and management, the role requires a sound understanding of implementing risk management policies and processes to focus the teams on current risks and minimize liability exposure.     This is a Fixed Term Contract role till June 2028.     Your key responsibilities are:   Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and support to Projects to ensure effective awareness of and execution of the Infrastructure Risk Management Procedure and Enterprise Risk Management Framework.   Liaise with all programme/project leaders in all aspects of the programme/project risk management programme.   Ensure the use and continuous improvement of the accuracy and integrity of risk registers.   Ensure transparent risk reporting monthly across all projects.   Mentor project leaders in risk awareness.   Facilitate risk assessment workshops and risk meetings as required.   Ensure the review of risk activities is performed  Develop relationships with Senior Leaders across Infrastructure and work with them as enablers of programmes and projects within the overall Infrastructure Portfolio.  Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact risk management and processes.  Support initiatives to enhance risk practices and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.     What you will bring to the role:   At Auckland Airport, we are a busy hive of activity, and a lot of what we look for is how you would align with our AKL values All In | Tātou tatou – How we feel, Know How | Kōkiri Tahi – How we think and Let’s Go | Karawhiua – How we act.    To ensure your success in this role, you will need:   Tertiary degree or equivalent in project management, risk management, engineering or a related field.   Project Management qualifications would be an advantage or equivalent relevant years of practical experience within Project Management.   8+ years’ risk management experience in large, complex, project centric organisations undertaking risk activities, including development and facilitation of workshops.   Experience in Programme / Project / Operational risk management.   Highly organised, plans and prioritises well and manages time to focus self and others on the most important activities.   Personal resilience.
