We are seeking a Joinery Detailer / Microvellum Programmer to join our dynamic, design-led team. You'll play a critical role in bringing bespoke kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, and interior cabinetry to life About Us: We are a premium manufacturer of bespoke kitchens and interior joinery, delivering meticulously crafted spaces for high-end residential and commercial projects. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and detail, we are now seeking a highly skilled Microvellum Detailer / Programmer to join our dynamic team. The Role: As a Microvellum Joinery Detailer / Programmer, you will play a critical role in taking projects from concept through to completion. You will be responsible for interpreting architectural drawings, turning design concepts into detailed manufacturing drawings, CNC-ready files, and ordering materials, ensuring precision, buildability, and production efficiency using Microvellum and supporting systems. Key Responsibilities: • Produce accurate and detailed workshop drawings, cut lists and CNC programming using Microvellum. • Liaise with clients, builders, designers, architects, and internal production teams • Resolve technical and construction details to ensure project feasibility • Interpret high-end design specifications and translate them into manufacturing-ready detail • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables • Manage procurement of hardware and materials in coordination with production • Contribute to material optimisation and cost-efficiency • Conduct site measures and coordinate installation logistics • Ensure the highest quality standards are met across all phases of the project Requirements: • Proven experience in bespoke joinery detailing, particularly high-end kitchens and interiors • Advanced proficiency in Microvellum and CAD software • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously • Excellent communication and client liaison abilities • Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and hardware • Experience in ordering and coordinating materials for joinery production • Ability to problem-solve and think proactively on-site and during the detailing process • Clear communication and collaborative mindset • NZ residency or a valid work visa (if applicable) Desirable: • Experience in managing factory production and site installation teams • Understanding of CNC processes and edgebanding equipment • Experience with Microvellum, CAD based software, Cabinet Vision, or other design software • Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g. Jobman, Cabinet Parts Pro) • Trade background in cabinetmaking or shopfitting • Knowledge of local suppliers and material standards Why Join Us? • Work on stunning, design-led projects with a creative and supportive team • Modern workshop with state-of-the-art machinery and systems • Career progression in a growing, well-respected company • Collaborative and detail-focused workshop environment • Competitive remuneration based on experience
