Description

* Play a key role supporting the region's bulk water pipeline * Innovative work, ongoing training opportunities and challenge * Pomare location The opportunity As a Pipelines Serviceperson you'll assist the major pipe and fabrication team to ensure that the Wellington region's Bulk Water network is meeting the needs of the region in an environmentally safe and hygienic manner. It's a very important and big picture focused role, as in this position you will be contributing to the region's Long-Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP), Annual Plan and Service Level Agreements. You will: * undertake works and maintenance on the Bulk Water Assets * assist with the production of maintenance plans for all equipment * keep valves and fittings on the Bulk Water Network in serviceable condition * manage assets wisely by regularly monitoring asset age, condition, and performance * install flowmeters and other network equipment.
