The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for: * Efficiently, effectively and safely carry out all planned maintenance, reactive or remedial service work, fault diagnostics and installation works relating to Passive Suppression Systems (Fire Alarm Systems) as requested/ instructed by the Operations Manager, Fire Alarm Manager, Project Manager or Fire Protection Administrator. * At all times enthusiastically expedite all works in a professional and tradesman like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted commercial/ industry standards. * Working unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality Fire Protection trade service. * The Fire Alarm Technician is further responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for self, colleagues, customers, and the general public. * This position will require availability for afterhours work and emergency call support on a rotating basis. To be successful, a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience: * Proven experience within fire alarm industry * Self-motivated, self-organising, flexible and enthusiastic attitude * Well-presented, highly organised, and motivated. * Reliable, quick learner, and a proven relationship builder * Excellent written and verbal communication * Knowledge and understanding of Fire Alarm standards and installation practices * Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Health and Safety systems * Be a proactive member of the team * Hold a current Driver's License The Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders.
