Why South East Queensland? * Idyllic coastal living * Thriving economy * Affordable lifestyle * Family-Friendly environment * Construction boom What we offer: * Career Development and growth opportunities * Fully funded plant tickets and High risk training * Competitive salary and employee benefits * Work life balance being home each night working on local projects * Job Stability working for a leading civil contractor with ongoing pipeline of works that are shaping cities and communities WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: PIPE LAYERS: * Demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water main. * Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching. * Capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level * Ability to set-up pipe laser * Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and standards EXCAVATOR OPERATORS: * Skilled in operating 20 tonne plus machines with demonstrated experience of lifting operations using excavator * competent around shoring box work and deep excavations * Knowledge of hand signals and instructions * Able to bench trenches to industry standards * Experienced in excavating around existing services and teams * Knowledge and ability to use GPS - desirable but not essential FOREMAN: * Prior experience as a Civil Drainage Foreman (minimum 2 years) * You'll have a solid understanding of advanced civil pipe principles with demonstrated experience in residential subdivision works installing deep sewer, storm water and water. * Knowledge to deal with all adverse ground conditions. * Comprehensive understanding of the current SEQ standards * A strong commitment to OHS and Safe Work Practices * Communicate with influence, sound written and verbal skills * Various plant machinery tickets will be highly regarded Next steps: If you are interested in discussing current opportunities, please submit an up-to-date copy of your resume and a covering letter highlighting your experience or reach out to our recruitment team at 0483 305 000 for a confidential discussion.
