We live by our REAL values - Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude, Leadership - and we demonstrate these through the good work we do, every day, as one team. **The Opportunity** We're seeking an experienced **Bitumen (Gangbar)** **Sprayer Operator** to join our Maintenance Reseals Crew based out of **Auckland.** In the role, you'll be responsible for operating spray bars attached to bitumen distribution trucks to apply precise layers of bitumen during chip sealing operations. You'll work alongside a dedicated crew, helping to create safe surfaces for motorists across the Auckland network. **In addition to the above you will** * Drive the Bitumen Gangbar Sprayer Truck and be the passenger Spray Person when/as required. * Monitoring spray rates, coverage, and adjusting equipment as required for optimal results. * Following all safety protocols and working collaboratively with team members. * Conduct cleaning and pre inspection checks for the sprayer to ensure plant is running at optimal performance. * Reporting any hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor without delay. * Work closely and communicate with your chip seal crew members to ensure good coordination of the sealing process. * Perform labouring duties as/when required **Good Work equals Good Benefits** * KiwiSaver employer contributions * Fuel discount card * Parental leave top-up payment with additional return to work support * Family scholarships * Ongoing training and development, career growth and progression opportunities * Great discounts at a wide range of retailers * Medical and Life insurance At Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us. **We're looking for someone with** * Must have experience as a Bitumen Sprayer/Operator (3-5 years ideally) * Hold a minimum Class 4 NZ driver's licence, Class 5 is ideal * Dangerous Goods and WTR endorsement are ideal * Good communication skills, both verbal and written * Confident using devices such as iPads, Laptops This is a permanent, full time position. Hourly Wage can range between $27.00 to $38.00 per hour + penal rates, pending on experience,.
