We are looking for an experienced Panel Beaters and a Spray Painter to join our team in the Hutt Valley. Here's what your day could look like: * Accident/collision and rust repairs. * Panel fabrication and fibre glass repairs. * Paint prep, application and touch ups to ensure high quality finishes. * Interior refurbishments. * Maintain accurate job and workshop records. What are we looking for? * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Panel Beater/ Collision repair technician. * A relevant panel beating/collision repair qualification (or equivalent experience). * Spray painting and glass removal/refit ability. * A great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team. * Clean drivers' licence with the ability to obtain your Class 2 or Class 4 licence. * A good eye for detail, an eagerness to get the job done right and a passion for the trade. You'll be joining a small team who take pride in their work and be in a role where you get to run the paint shop as you want, keeping in line with Hirepool's values. The role is also more than just paint work, you'll have ownership of the results from start to finish (e.g. preparation, panel and paint). With a high-volume workload, you need to be good at managing your own output, producing quality work in a timely manner. When required, you'll also need to help out elsewhere around the workshop.
