Fujinon SW S 1:5.6 50mm Get in quickly! This is the unicorn for the G/GL 690 cameras; by far the best and rarest lens available for the system. Fitted to a Fujica G/GL690, it gives the equivalent of a 21mm angle of view compared to 35mm/FF. These are exceptionally sharp lenses; much sharper than a Super Angulon 47mm (I had one on a Cambo Wide). The SW S 50mm f5.6 is a symmetrical design and has very little distortion. There is effectively no barrel distortion but, like every wide angle, it has geometric distortion due to the relative distances of objects with such a wide angle. However, straight lines stay straight. These rarely come up for sale and, when they do, they are always expensive. No, I don't have the original lens caps but a std 72mm cap works on the front and I've made a cap for the rear that works. It comes with the genuine Fujica lens hood which is designed for both the 65mm and the 50mm. I don't have the genuine Fujica accessory viewfinder but included is a Mamiya parallax adjusting 50mm viewfinder from a Press. I've found it works perfectly and have used it since I bought this lens years ago. Sample photos are from this lens; some were shot using a 35mm panorama insert for the G690. I've most recently been using it on my Fuji GFX100s and am selling that adapter as I no longer need it (see other auctions).
