VINTAGE USA WHEATON VILLAGE ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT

Very nice paperweight featuring a flower to to the centre. Made in the USA at Wheaton Glass Village. 70mm in diameter. Marked to the base WV and also HD for Henry Davis. Henry Davis is known for his art glass paperweights, particularly those made at Wheaton Village (now Wheaton Arts) in the 1970s. His paperweights often feature colorful flowers, controlled bubbles, and other decorative elements encased in clear glass. He was a master paperweight maker at Wheaton Village. This piece is in mint condition. WheatonArts has been an important gathering ground for glass artists and collectors since the mid-1970s and has proved invaluable to two groups in particular: those interested in paperweights, and emerging glass artists.
