We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our rostering team to help us fulfill our vision of ‘Communities where people are empowered’. Our Role | Ko tā mātou mahi Do you like a puzzle, jigsaws or tetris? Do you want to be part of a great supportive team? We have an exciting opportunity for a Rostering Coordinator in the Payroll and Rostering Team. This role will see you building strong and trusting relationships with our staff and their leaders to successfully deliver rosters. This is a vital role that ensures that the people we partner with are supported to live good lives with limited disruptions. We are a collaborative and hardworking team that has fun and enjoyment in the work that we do. You will be on the phone frequently with Community Facilitators regarding advance rosters and the filling of short-notice sick leave requirements. Your methodical nature and forward planning experience will contribute to the success of this position. What we're looking for: Effective communication skills, be able to communicate clearly and appropriately with a range of people The ability to build strong working relationships Be able to maintain accurate records, attention to detail and accuracy The ability to problem-solve and find a solution when issues arise A confident and professional telephone manner, along with a strong customer service focus Able to use a computer and navigate computer programs A sense of humor Key Responsibilities: Managing the rostering system for all staff associated with supporting disabled partners Ensuring that all shifts are filled in a timely and efficient manner Rostering staff according to their availability and skillset Liaising with team leaders to ensure that staffing requirements are met Managing any rostering changes or issues that arise Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions What can we offer you?
