We are looking for a highly motivated leading hand scaffolder who is dedicated to contributing to a great team environment. This is a full-time permanent position based in Lower Hutt, with a minimum of 42.5 hours per week and an 8 a.m. start. The starting rate will range depending on skills and qualifications. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks and should have: *At least 3 years experience in leading a scaffolding team - can motivate, lead and upskill team members. * Can complete all jobs efficiently and safely to a high standard and within the set timeframe. *Follow instructions set out for task. * Strong communication skills - written and verbal. * Understanding of site plans and ability to independently compile a gear list based of site plan. * Communicate gear list to crew to load/unload truck. * Main contact on site with clients, subcontractors and management team. * Take responsibility for any concerns/issues related to their team members etc * Happy to provide and receive feedback to team/management * Reliable, punctual and have a can-do attitude and gets along with staff. * Comply with all health & safety requirements Please include your visa type and expiration date in the application if you are a temporary New Zealand visa holder Please contact Beth on office@scaffolddirect.co.nz to apply.
