We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bricklayer Stonemason to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct, repair, or extend structures such as walls, partitions, arches, and other building components. Responsibilities: * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. * Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding. * Measure and mark dimensions to lay out work using levels, rules, plumb bobs, or laser levels. * Lay bricks, blocks, and other materials to build or repair walls, foundations, arches, chimneys, and other structures. * Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation. * Cut and shape bricks using hand tools or power tools as required. * Setout blockwork, lay blocks in rows and according to different designs. * Ensure structures are level, plumb, and properly aligned. * Apply waterproofing and sealing materials to work surfaces. * Assess, Repair and maintain stonework and bricks, cement blocks and other structures. * Maintain tools and equipment in clean, good working condition. * Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site. * Collaborate with other construction professionals and tradespeople as needed. Requirements: * Must have minimum 2 years' relevant experience or a recognized trade level 4 qualification * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans. * Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in bricklaying. * Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. * Attention to detail and a good eye for precision. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Pay: $28 - $35 per hour Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week Monday to Friday, may be occasional work on Saturdays, Weekly Pay Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
